This is the second commissioned painting I´m making this year. I had one month to make it. It has a strong perspective, which I think is one of its best qualities.
This is a scene of my home town São Paulo, in Brazil. It is a viaduct called "Santa Efigênia", in the city´s historical centre. My heart beat beats me senselessly.
Why's everything got to be so intense with me?

. . I was right
The people are well done also.
I recently brought more pieces to another gallery besides the December show. The owner of the gallery commented on my use of light. I realized through his eyes that I don't paint blocks of light as much as I paint light throughout. It's my main focus when I paint and I believe that you may do the same thing. Yes?

humm i think i do know what you´re talking about. instead of doing blocks of light from the beginning you work on it during the process, shading and lighting areas that you had previously worked on.. is that it? well that´s how i work alright, but also working a little on blocks which helps on some parts. how about you? did i understand it?
