Artist's Comments

This is a painting of the Ipanema beach, in Rio de Janeiro. Iīve been to Rio many times in my life during my vacations. It is a very beautiful and incredible city, with lots of nature and man occupation at the same time. Itīs really unique.
It was a commissioned work, so I donīt have the painting anymore. I like its waves.
You can see a detail of it here: [link]

Man, oh man.
This is nice.
Nice.
The colors.. so soothing.
I enjoy the fade of the buildings into the mountains, as well.
Also, good job blending in color in the sand and ocean so it doesn't look monotone or monocolor.

Good choice for a background, the blue theme is great!

Jesus came from outerspace and he travelled from beyond the stars - he came down for peace on earth and he left in a second hand car.
